The Power of the Matrilocal and Uxorilocal Societies: The Example of the Canadian Society

There are societies which are matrilocal and others which are uxorilocal. It means that the mother and the wife can determine the ethnic group of the children and the residence of the husband. There is also the fact, that the husband is considered as his wife. Therefore, it is good to study the Jewish Society, the Maurician Society and the Africaans Societies, as well as the Canadian Society.
