The Oath of Burgundy was ratified in 1792, which stipulated that no one should be prosecuted, because of his social background or origin. Burgundy is a region in France like Normandy. It is a region which is famous for its wineries, for its Political Science School and opening on Africa. There is also a Burgundy style in fashion design. Burgundy is also a colour. It is a variation of red like the red wine of Burgundy.
