One good thing in the Métis society were the go betweens who helped to flourish commercial activities. A person to go to is a person who can listen to you and relay your information with accuracy for example, a journalist, a poet, a writer or even a politician.
There are times when people come to you and to inform but are not necessary on your side. All you need is to know what is good or bad.
