It is warmer in the south. It depends on the geography. Spain, Portugal and Italy are in southern Europe and it snows there. The warm south is for example Africa where there is no snow. The climate is changing and it also snows in South Africa. Too much sunshine is not good because of the risk of cancer. In some parts of the world it can be very hot like in North Africa and in the South of France.
