Indigenous populations play an important part in folklore. It means that ethnology is an important science to preserve technics, religion, society and local cuisine. Some of the Indigenous populations are the Inuit, Mohawk, and Mapuche respectfully from Canada, the United States and Chile for example. Indigenous populations contribute to biodiversity and agricultural production.
