Have A White Christmas

Precipitations determine the weather. Therefore, we have to take care of the snow and the rain. We cannot let human nature do everything. Men and women have to intervene, even the young boy works in the garden to make some pocket money or save for an important project. There are days when it rains by the beach or snows in the mountains. That is why we like the snowbirds and the skiers for they let us know when they are out there so, that we can plan our activities. The quality of water also depends on the precipitations therefore, we have to be cautious. Pollution is not good for the water and it can also affect the sky. We have to remember a good sunshine also means a good rainy day. Mineral water also has some medicinal properties. Water can take out toxines from our bodies easily and restore our health. Switzerland is famous for its water and many visitors like to stay to live a longer fulfilling life in a wealthy country where hospitality is key.

The Return to Classic Style

Greek and Latin belong to the classic style. This style can last forever. We also have classic style in clothing. There is clothing we must have in our wardrobe and that is why it is called classic. There are also colours which are classic for example white, black and brown respectivelly for summer, winter and autumn and of course grey for the cool season. Each culture has its own classic style and we often buy it as souvenir for example, embroidery from Ukraine, knitwear from Denmark and pastel clothing from Norway. Greek, Latin and Arabic are classic languages which were spoken and are spoken in Egypt. Medicine counts on Greek and Latin for the names of diseases and medications.

"Look for the Light"

Those were the words of Marie Curie when she obtained the Nobel Prize. Marie Curie is one of the most outstanding scientist especially in chemistry. We need chemistry in cuisine, for cosmetics and medicine. I I hope one day Marie Curie will be addressed as professor Marie Curie because she deserves the title.

It Is Christmas Time

Christmas is also an important moment. The temperatures drop in the Northern Hemisphere. We know it is going to snow when the temperatures reach zero degrees. That happened yesterday and now it is snowing. It usually gets colder when most of the population is indoors and then it snows. When there are more people outside it becomes hotter and then it rains. That is how humnan beings can have an impact on the weather. It is a time to have some soup and have more calories to be warm. There are many stories to tell about Christmas based on snow. It is a period of resilience and reconciliation with ourselves. I think about the populations that lives in the mountains, in the Alps, the Andes mountains, Pyrenees mountains and Mount Kilimandjaro. It is nice to discuss about the cool and warm weather. Fresh air is good for our minds. We would not have cereals and especially wheat without the cool weather. Therefore, it might snow in Mexico because, we are overwhelmed with tortillas and tacos which are good for our energy level.

A Report on 2021

Health is one of the major priorities. We all hope to be better and enjoy work and family. This year was a focus on Covid-19. Fortunately, a vaccin was discovered. There are viruses which still do not have treatment or medication. Sometimes our bodies can cope with viruses and get ride of them. It looks like the pandemic has reached or the parts of the world although, it has been said there are places like Cabo Verde which are safe. Cabo Verde is an island in the Atlantic Ocean on the African coast. It has produced one of the most best Lusophone singers, Cesare Evora especially for her song Saudade. I was impressed when some students thought I was from Cabo Verde because, I want to study in the most prestigious European university Coimbra in Portugal and I also like Brazilian music. Most of the media focus was located around the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Volcanoes erupted in the Canary islands and in Indonesia. These two last islands are important tourist destinations and are also fertile. They are famous for bananas and coffee. These last food ingredients help us digest. Therefore, we will miss them especially, this end of year when we have food to eat and parties to attend. Volcanoes can scare and there are countries that are still unpopulated because of them for example, the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was also an important year for women. There are more measures to take to ensure the safety of women. Competition between women and men is tougher especially because of, the progress of medicine. Women can contribute to the household. There is a need to study misoginia. Education gives more freedom to women but women still have some problems to express their own ideas especially women who are victims. There is still the idea that a woman needs a man for her survival and whoever is given to her. In fact, it is up to the woman to decide of her own destiny especially because, she is the one who bears her own child. Another year begins full of many expectations and of course time management is key.

A Humanitarian Language Project for Twelve Month

We need to programme our activities in this digital age. There are calendars to update our events to attend. Winter is not really a season for outdoor activities. Of course, there are ski resorts to go to ski. There are many events around the world that can have positive impacts on us. Therefore, communication is a means to achieve the goal. For that, we need to incorporate in our programmes as many events as possible. There are daily activities like work, study and leisure. Most of the time work determines our other activities for, we have to pay for school and to go to watch movies, for example. We have to decide on when and where we want to go for holidays and sometimes why because, we want to enjoy the holidays. Most people go on holidays in winter or summer. Spring and the fall are also good seasons to take holidays. In spring, it rains so there are more occasions to be at home for those who like being home. Spring is a good season for gardening, cleaning and shopping. It is good to buy plants and see them grow. Plants bring some fresh air in the house. Study time is also important. It allows us to gain more knowledge and have a promotion which means a salary increase. We need to watch the weather to plan our walks in order not to have bad surprises on the way especially because, during these last years there were many heavy rains. During winter, we can assembly food recipes from around the world and translate them. Food keeps us warm and we have to learn how to cook in order to be more productive and healthy. Lunch time for example should be a moment of pleasure and also rewarding for the work done. Food can have some special meaning like sweet bananas which can mean fertility and continuity in reproduction. The passion fruit is excellent for the immune system. In Kirundi for example, bananas are imihwi and passion fruits amabungo.
