The River Nile starts in Cairo, Egypt, it goes down to Sudan, inside Lake Albert, through Lake Tanganyika and Karuzi in Burundi, later closer to the pyramid built by Ptolemy and ends in Lake Limpopo in Mozambique. Hippos only live in lake Tanganyika where they contribute to the ecosystem.
