Language Acquisition And Gender

It looks like there are languages which are categorized by gender. There are more males which study German than females. There is a belief that males are good at sciences and therefore, they have to study German. In my classe, all the girls including me studied Spanish. The boys studied German. I was not bad at mathematics and Latin, but I wanted to study social sciences. I am interested by the world of industrial organizations, therefore, I want to study German.
