The sun shines in the East. It sounds like it inspired the research of Pierre and Marie Curie to discover electricity and they are respectively from former Tchecoslovaquia and Poland in Eastern Europe. Luxembourg is also in Eastern Europe and has many coal mines. Tanzania and Kenya are in Eastern Africa and are coastal countries. Austria is in Eastern Europe and has plenty of snow in the Alps. Hong Kong is an island in Eastern Asia surrounded by water and has an important port.
